This experience automatically checks off another "travel to a foreign country" item on your bucket list. The tour from Dubrovnik to Mostar, with a stop at the Kravice Waterfalls, is one of the most popular day trips for guests from all over the world. The distance between the two cities is around 140 kilometers (86 miles). The route goes along the Croatian coast, through the Adriatic Alps and across the border to Bosnia & Herzegovina. The first highlight is the stopp at Kravice Waterfalls. They are located near the village of Studenci and are one of the most famous attractions in this region. Because of the many different plant species that thrive around the waterfalls, this place is also known as one of the last "jungles" in Europe.
Then the trip continues to Mostar. Once there, a local tour guide takes you on a tour of the city. You will learn about the impressive history of this city. In the Middle Ages it marked the border between east and west and was a witness to the clash of cultures. After the guided tour you can spend the rest of the time exploring Mostar on your own before heading back to Dubrovnik.
