Full description

Are you ready for an adventure? Our sunset hiking and wine tasting tour in Dubrovnik starts on the motorway above the Old Town, near the bus stop. We'll slowly climb through the forest, taking about fifteen minutes to get to know our guests better. As we exit the forest, we'll follow the path of the Cross at a leisurely pace while sharing stories about the history, culture, landmarks and...
landscapes of Dubrovnik and the surrounding area. We'll take breaks along the way, enjoying the stunning views of the Old Town, the Adriatic Sea and the island of Lokrum. The entire climb usually takes one hour. Once we reach the top of Srđ, we'll celebrate with a proud photo and take in the best view of Dubrovnik. We'll then slow down by visiting the naturally cooled Museum of Homeland War in the old Napoleon stone fortress Imperial. Fort Imperial Dubrovnik is a historic fortress located at the top of Mount Srđ in Dubrovnik, Croatia. The fortress was built by the French during the early 19th century and was originally named Fort Napoléon in honor of Napoleon Bonaparte. It was later renamed Fort Imperial by the Austrians, who took control of the region in the mid-19th century. Fort Imperial Dubrovnik played an important role in the region's military history, serving as a strategic defense point during various conflicts. The fortress was heavily damaged during the Croatian War of Independence in the early 1990s, but has since been restored and is now a popular tourist attraction.  We'll head out on top of the fortress with a view that few visitors to Dubrovnik know about, away from the usual crowds and gatherings near the cable car and restaurant. As we begin our descent, we'll pass through Bosanka, a private outdoor property where only our group is allowed. The area is also home to several historic sites and landmarks, including a medieval church and a 19th-century manor house. In addition to its natural and cultural attractions, Bosanka is also known for its excellent restaurants and traditional Croatian cuisine. Here, we'll have an uninterrupted rest with food, drink, conversation, and of course, a great view. If it's a sunset excursion, we'll enjoy the view from the private property. We'll continue our descent on the newly refurbished and lit path from Bosanka towards the port of the Old Town. We'll pass through an underpass below the motorway and finish the tour by the café "Bikers" near Ploče, or the southern entrance to the Old Town. This final part of the descent is especially beautiful after sunset as the lit walls and the rest of Dubrovnik can be viewed from the path, and often a beautifully lit sailboat can be seen in front of Lokrum. Join us for a breathtaking adventure and unforgettable memories!
